WCONLINE: The Writing Studio
- Before making an appointment to work with a tutor online, review the online tutoring guidelines at our online tutoring web page. Review the system requirements, software requirements, and procedures: this will help you to decide whether working with an online tutor is an option that you should choose.
We also have an e-mail option; after registering with the online appointment system, you may mail your writing project of 10 pages or less to onlinetutoring@gsu.edu, along with your assignment summary and specific question. One of our online tutors will respond to your question(s), usually within 24 - 48 hours. Papers e-mailed after noon on Thursday may get a response the following Monday. - Welcome to the scheduling system for The Writing Studio at Georgia State University. For the summer session 2010, you may work with a tutor online via Windows Live Messenger. If you'd like to work with a tutor online, please read the separate announcement below for important information. We wish you the best with your papers and writing projects and thank you for including us in your writing endeavors!
- The Writing Studio online tutoring sessions begin June 21, 2010. The summer schedule is now available.
- Surveys: After each tutoring session, you may receive a survey request. Because each session is different, we hope that you will take the time to answer the survey. We thank you for your time.
- Session Records: For training purposes and to ensure that we maintain our commitment to help you improve your writing, we may keep a transcript of your online tutoring session. Transcripts are for our internal use only, and we preserve the anonymity of anyone who uses the online writing studio.
